About Us

We are a group of women from diverse backgrounds with a range of skills and experience who work together to support women and their children who are experiencing or fleeing domestic abuse.

North Derbyshire Women’s Aid provide practical help, emotional support, information and safe temporary accommodation to enable women to explore options and make choices for themselves and their families via our women only advice centre, refuges, floating support, outreach and Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA) services.

North Derbyshire Women’s Aid outreach and IDVA services also provide practical help, emotional support and information to men who are experiencing or fleeing domestic abuse to enable them to explore options and make choices for themselves and their families.
