North Derbyshire Women’s Aid

is a registered charity that provides advice, support and temporary accommodation to women and their children (from diverse backgrounds) who are or have been experiencing domestic abuse. A commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice is essential.

We are inviting applications for an ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT to assist in the administrative duties at all three work bases. Organisational and ICT skills are essential, as well as good communication skills and a good standard of numeracy and literacy. Occasional minute-taking at evening meetings is required. The post will include working at offices in the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire areas.

The post is 16 hours per week and is currently funded until the end of May 2011. Local Government Pay Scale Points 12-14 apply (2008/09 £8.15 per hour plus 6% pension contribution).
