Our counselling service provides counselling sessions in a safe, confidential space for an hour every week for up to 20 sessions within 6 months, with a further 20 sessions available after a 6 month period. Your counsellor will support you in deciding how much counselling you need and the most appropriate help available for you.
Your counsellor will give you the opportunity to work through painful feelings at your own pace which can help in reducing the confusion you may feel about why things are difficult for you.
Your counsellor will neither judge you nor advise you, but will help you to find your own way forward

Who is the service offered to?
Women who have/ are experiencing domestic violence or abuse and who may feel some, none or all of the following feelings which often stem from being controlled, not respected, abused by someone close to us:
- anxious, frightened, helpless, ashamed, lacking in self belief / confidence, that everything is your fault however hard you try.
